HISTORY

The land where Loose Park is located, near 52nd and Wornall, was gifted to the city by Mrs. Ella Clark Loose in 1927. After which a group organized to establish the Kansas City Rose Garden within the park in 1931. Where it's since been blooming for nearly 100 years. Maintained through a partnership between the Kansas City Rose Society and KCMO Parks and Rec and beloved by the Kansas Citians who frequent it.
